Help Build the Club
We are always looking for people who want to support rugby in Dartmouth. Some roles help with club growth, some help with youth development, and others help connect the PigDogs to the wider community. Whether you have a lot of time or only a little, there are ways to make a real impact.

Volunteer Roles
These positions help keep the PigDogs organized, visible, active in the community, and growing at every level of the club.
Helping tell the PigDogs story and keep the club visible year-round.
This role supports how the club presents itself online, in the community, and through club media.

Helping make sure programming is organized and opportunities are created for players.
This role supports youth and club rugby growth by helping coordinate participation and development opportunities.
- Making sure all our coaches are available and coaching kids

Helping build a stronger, safer, and better-supported coaching structure across the club.
This role helps keep coaching support organized across all levels of rugby in the club.
- Making sure we have coaches for all levels

- Making sure criminal record and vulnerable sector checks are completed
Helping connect the PigDogs to the wider community through outreach and events.
This role helps organize community-facing efforts and supports events that build club presence and local impact.

Summer Student Jobs
Each summer, the PigDogs aim to bring on paid student staff to help support programming, administration, communications, and community engagement. Depending on funding, this may be two or three positions, and these are the core roles we look to fill.
Helping deliver youth and club programming throughout the summer season.
This role supports the day-to-day delivery of club activities and helps keep summer rugby programming organized.
- Assisting with youth rugby sessions and activities
- Helping coordinate players, families, and schedules
- Supporting Try It Days, jamborees, and exhibition matches
- Helping coaches and volunteers during programming
Helping promote the club, support media, and keep communication flowing.
This role focuses on how the PigDogs communicate with players, families, supporters, and the wider community.
