Coaches Change Lives
Coaches are one of the most important parts of youth rugby. They build confidence, create safe spaces, teach teamwork, and help young players grow not only in sport, but in life. Across every age category, one person stepping forward can make a difference that lasts for years.
Be the Difference for a Young Player
The PigDogs are always looking for people who want to help shape the next generation of rugby players. You do not need to arrive as an expert. What matters most is a willingness to show up, support young athletes, and help create a positive experience for every child in the club.
Great coaches leave a mark far beyond the scoreboard. They help kids feel included. They help players believe in themselves. They create memories, habits, and confidence that stay with young people long after a season ends.
The Club Will Support You
If you are interested in helping coach, the club will cover training and course upgrades needed to help you get started and continue growing.
That means you can come in with a willingness to help, and the club will invest in giving you the tools, training, and support to become a stronger coach.
Coaching Matters in Every Age Group
Every player needs encouragement, guidance, and positive leadership. From first-time youth players touching a rugby ball for the first time to older athletes learning the next level of the game, coaches help shape the experience.
